Description:
Red
Mill Elementary School opened in 1989. The school draws students from
a mix of suburban, rural and beach front areas. Red Mill has about 700
students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Mission
Statement:
Red Mill Elementary promotes educational excellence, within
a safe and nurturing environment, while encouraging everyone to achieve
his/her full potential.
Values:
1. We believe educators and parents should strive to make children feel
good about themselves and their work.
2. We believe teachers and parents should recognize the uniqueness of
every child and encourage each to achieve his/her full potential.
3. We believe that providing a caring and safe learning environment will
promote a high level of academic success.
4. We believe there should be flexibility and creativity in teaching strategies
and methods in order to reach all children.
5. We believe that effective communication between school and home will
enhance a child's education.
