Green Club

Red Mill's "Green Club"

The Garden Club has been keeping busy in the Atrium. They have been working on the follow projects:
watering plants, planting vegetables & flowers, stirring the compost bin, raking & picking up leaves, branches & pinecones, pulling weeds, and sweeping walkways. This winter the club plans to plant vegetable seeds in the Greenhouse.
A special Thank you to parent volunteer Mrs. Wills for managing the Atrium. And our partner in Education, Maritime Lawn Care, for planting new bushes, trimming trees & shrubs, pulling weeds, and ordering & delivering pansies & hollies.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • turn off classroom lights when not in the room
  • all exterior doors should remain closed
  • when washing hands, do not keep the water running
  • recycle in the lunch room
  • be careful not to waste paper towels, toilet paper, notebook paper, etc.
  • breakdown boxes to be recycled
  • turn in old print cartridges and cell phones
  • shut down computers daily
